Association of Model Agents Negotiate Health Assessment Service
Nuffield Health assessment and wellbeing package for all AMA models
February 16 2009. The Association of Model Agents (AMA) has negotiated a corporate contract with Nuffield Health, the UK’s largest healthcare charity, which offers all models registered with members of the Association of Model Agents discounted access to Nuffield Health’s health assessment services as well as its national network of Fitness and Wellbeing Centres.
The Association of Model Agents is distributing details of the contract with Nuffield Health direct to its entire model directory in the UK. Details are also available at the new Association of Model Agents web site at www.asssociationofmodelagents.org.
Laurie Kuhrt, Chairman of the AMA, says:
“Models are generally active, fit and health conscious individuals. But the Association of Model Agents is trying to find ways of encouraging healthy behaviours and habits without being patronising or interfering. The Nuffield Health arrangement is a practical step towards doing that as it will give models discounted access to one of the leading health screening and wellbeing providers in the UK.”
